We always try to help, if the book is out of stock, we will have to wait for a client to add the listing, but don’t fear! You are welcome to add the item to your wish list, and we will notify you via e-mail once the item comes in stock. 


It has never been easier to list the books you have available to sell! Simply follow these few steps:

  1. Search for your textbooks by entering the ISBN number in the search bar.
  2. Submit your book listing together with photos.
  3. Sit back and wait for the book to be sold, then the couriers will come and collect it from you.
  4. After this, payment will be received within 5-8 business days.

Simply click on the “Create Account” link in the header, then click on “Log in here” and then on “Reset password” link in the top of the screen. Next simply enter your email address in the text field, then press on “Send Reset Link”. You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password shortly thereafter.


The easiest will be to open Waze or Google Maps on your phone and search for Wize Books. Alternatively, click here to get instructions. Our physical address is 1116 Prospect Street, Hatfield, Pretoria — we are directly opposite the University of Pretoria ladies residence Magrietjie in Hatfield Square.

No payment details are saved on our online platform and we take the security of our client's payments and personal information very seriously. Wize Books is a trusted brand throughout South Africa and it is evident in the fact that we have been reviewed by the General South African public on Google over 1000 times.


To buy a book, you can simply search for the book, look at the one you want, and add it to your cart. You can then proceed to check-out. 

Remember to create an account, otherwise the screen will not proceed to the payment screen.


The duration will depend on whether we have stock as well and if the seller is available for collection. If the book is in stock and the seller is available then it should take about 5 days for the order to be delivered. But rest assured, we will do everything we can to have it at your door as soon as possible. If we cannot get the title/cannot order it for you and you have paid for it, we will refund you.


Local: We will INDEED! We can deliver your items to any address you provide.

Please take note that we do not deliver outside of South Africa.


In store: Cash or Card (we accept all debit and credit cards except for “American Express” and 'Diners Club') 

Online: Instant EFT via Ozow, Credit Cards, Chip and Pin Debit Cards, EFT into our ABSA account and last but not least, cash deposits.

Should you opt for ABSA (EFT), our bank details will be emailed to you together with the EXACT reference number you MUST use. Please use only this exact reference number as your order will be delayed or indefinitely delayed if you do not use the correct reference.


It is completely FREE to list your books with us!


If your books aren’t sold you are welcome to remove the listing as a sale is not guaranteed. If you requested to keep your books at our store you will need to arrange to come and collect them directly.


You log in with your current email address and password. Once you're logged in, click on 'Account' in the header. Next click on the “Information” tab — you will be able to alter your cell number.


Once your book has been sold you will need to first confirm your banking details and then the payout will be processed within 5-8 business days. 


After the book has been sold, we schedule a courier to pick up the book from the seller and deliver it to the buyer. This process might vary between 3-6 days. 


Unfortunately, all items bought on this platform are non-refundable and no exceptions will be made. This also means that they cannot be exchanged or returned for credit. Exceptions can be made for certain scenarios, you can email us in this regard at info@wizebooks.co.za
